Would you count debug/repair interfaces as backdoors? I've found them in Huawei products, and have used them as backdoors

That's different; secure boot is expected on Android phones. If you can use repair interfaces to e.g. do offline PIN/password cracking on a phone with a locked bootloader (or unlock the bootloader without wiping), which isn't supposed to be possible, then yes, that's a backdoor.
