Argh, SystemRescueCD ditched their Gentoo base for Arch linux and regressed on some things I really liked in the process, like the FAT32-based USB install and the default zsh with a nice config :(
Cool! FWIW I like and use Arch, and I don't think there's any inherent reason why it would be bad for SystemReacueCD; just annoyed by some fallout from this major change :)

I completely get the annoyance. FAT32 support is a tooling issue AFAIK, but zsh is on them for not setting up. The disk usage bloat is just Arch being Arch for the most part ^^ We where also a bit surprise to see the move.
