Argh, SystemRescueCD ditched their Gentoo base for Arch linux and regressed on some things I really liked in the process, like the FAT32-based USB install and the default zsh with a nice config :(

It should be fairly easy to swap isolinux with syslinux. Just make sure the FAT32 partition is marked as "active", dd your preferred flavor of syslinux master boot record onto the USB stick's MBR, and run syslinux --install on the FAT32 partition.

Yeah, I know I can DIY all this (it's basically what the old usb_inst does anyway), I'm just annoyed that they don't have a script for it any more.
