anyway I do not think that within 2 weeks (ignoring that there is some time you need to set everything up) Hex-Rays could see a drop in sales.

They know it's coming, there's no way it isn't. There is *no* reason not to use and learn Ghidra instead in an educational setting now, which would hurt their future sales; it's an obvious response.
