FWIW, the way I did it was with a dirt simple FPGA logic analyzer that used an external clock for sampling, so no issues capturing the clock. No compression, but 33MB/s uncompressed fits in USB2.0. I'll probably try to implement it in Glasgow soon.

Yeah the clock thing was silly, but I figured might as well include it in the post. In the end I ended up implementing it on an icestick, which I wrote up in the tpm2.0 section.
