changed my ringtone to being pink noise (ramped up/down to avoid transients) and it’s non-annoying and super easy to locate where it’s coming from (since correlation of a noise sequence with delayed versions of itself has much less peaks than for pure tones or mostly-pure tones)
My ringtone will never not be Bad Apple (not that anyone ever calls me) but I might have to steal this for some notifications.
