Now the problem is I'm having a really hard time deciding if I brain farted or if Twitter is just a buggy mess. I'm thinking 50/50 either way.

I mean, to be fair, it's not like anyone has ever accused the RPi foundation of being particularly security minded. As far as "people who have threat modelling figured out" I'd say theyre pretty low on the list in several ways
