Why the hell is this garbage in an *educational* product?
I understand the SoC design is terribad and it's all a Broadcom mess and it took ages to open up and it still relies on proprietary firmware and yada yada because Broadcom. But this is pure evil added deliberately and there is absolutely *no* reason to do it other than greed.
I like to pretend companies lock their hardware down to give hobbiests something fun to crack. Even if I know they don't...
