I’ve setup a Proxmox cluster at home and since seeing the Ceph every in the Ui I’m noticing Ceph mentioned more and more. I should really look into it.
Huh, the in-kernel NFS daemon works with CephFS. I thought it didn't, I was convinced I needed NFS-Ganesha. Well, this just made my switchover to CephFS even easier.

Go Ceph! I setup a single machine with NFS for accessing a few mounts via Windows and MacOS directly, otherwise everything else uses cephfs now :)
