So, on a flight today I learned too late that my Switch wouldn’t let me play Smash Bros. without an internet connection (not set as the primary Switch for the account, DRM crap)… and that it doesn’t support captive portal logins, as used by the in-flight Wi-Fi.
And this is why I buy cartridges. So they did get rid of the captive portal login feature? No exploitable browser any more?
On the other hand Doom cartridge version requires internet connectivity, only to start
Strange, the portal worked for me yesterday morning at the airport, am I missing an update since then?
The thing I noticed that upset me was that since they can't hole punch through the airport WiFi I can't play Smash since they only do P2P for online play 
I play smash offline all the time?
