well that sucks. My server crashed and the data is gone. I have backups so i only lost a little data, but these things were supposed to be MORE reliable, not less. I wonder if its a controller failure exacerbated by the extra drives i added.
RAID for the storage? If it's a controller failure you should be able to access the volume from a replacement controller.

i brought the drives back up but its corrupted, i can't get data back.

Weird, that isn't supposed to happen with a normal failure. Sounds like something went horribly wrong :(
