      Apple really needs to offer a periodic privacy checkup that urges people to review and turn apps’ access to location data off. And they should bring the hammer down on app devs whose data winds up in public databases.

      I have no suggestions for Android. If you use Android you should probably get used to people knowing your location.

          Only 1 app has location permission enabled on my phone, the navigation one. Nothing else needs it.
