I love the ones where they are telling me that they hacked my PC and recorded my webcam. First off, I don't even got a webcam to begin with and second the password they "cracked" wasn't even right

My gf got that same email like a few weeks ago and we laughed a lot at it. Also the "I sent this from your email account" combined with a huge SPF failure is amazing.

This one came from an ADSL line in Uruguay. To their credit, it managed to pass the greylist, so at least they're retrying or using a real MTA.

Weird that they get some right, but others so wrong. I’ve never once used this as a password anywhere, for obvious reasonspic.twitter.com/vMg9EeVUY7

Random password lists are *extremely* unreliable and often full of made up garbage. Probably using some aggregated mess of a dump.

I've received several variants of that email, and since my passwords are different on each website, it's easy to figure which one it came from. Last one was from http://wiinewz.com (now defunct).

I gotten those emails also, the best part is 'about the camera' watching you, i don't even have web cam.

The password is not important, as a scam email, it is very well constructed. A lot of non technical people will fall for that. In the last versions of those emails they didn't even include a password, which means that it also works without it.
