Everything with a USB port and an I/O connector on the other end. Which is the whole *point*. Those industries have no right to continue to exist in the era of reconfigurable hardware.

as is Freescale, STC & Microchip's? Unlikely, I think it's a lock-in psychology trick, you have to spend effort getting each to work, you only want one really (cf: op) and it guides your thoughts for the next thing you design.

Except the bus pirate is ridiculously underpowered, out of date, and based around a pretty crappy microcontroller architecture. I mean yeah it can do *some* things but not well enough to replace dedicated tools. Glasgow can.
