Going to Japan in 3 days, any suggestions of do/dont's cause I'm not super familiar with the culture? Also I only know how to say hello, thanks and goodbye, let's see if I can get around.
Tipping is not a thing, ever. Do not pass food chopsticks to chopsticks, ever (pass it directly to a plate). Other than that, just do as the Japanese do, be polite, and don't be loud and obnoxious. Nobody's going to judge you for minor cultural faux pas as long as you're nice.
