Okay, folks at @santanderuk, please consider that "Place of birth", "Name of first school", "Name of secondary school" as *security* passwords, in 2018, in the age of Facebook, should be banned.
(Of course I generated random words for each question.)
I feed in pwgen output every time I get one of those. Looking forward to the time someone asks me over the phone. "I need the name of your first pet, but, uh, I think something's wrong here..." "Yes, it was ｅｑｕ７ａｈＪｏ" "...that is correct"

And yes I've had to fill in answers to those in ＦＵＬＬ ＷＩＤＴＨ ＡＳＣＩＩ before, for Japanese websites. Because apparently that qualifies as kanji for most.

I just wonder why instead of insisting on 16+5 (password+PIN) and then just asking me 6 characters out of them, they can't just require me to have a passphrase and use the phone app :(

I used to use something like ‘eatmyass’ for all of those security questions until I was indeed asked to verify my answer on the phone. I couldn’t do it!
