      Honestly, even Japanese people have no idea what to do with counters. I've heard HDDs counted as 2枚, 2台, 2本. And if you're buying them, 2個. It all becomes very fuzzy very fast outside of basic objects.

          ... incidentally, those four are pretty much the only counters I know well enough to use. Well, and 人, 階, 回, 位, but those are pretty special purpose.
