sure, you could convert the DC to AC and pass it through a transformer, but that wouldn't necessarily stop side channels

Fun fact: you also want to use this is plumbing, anywhere you connect stainless steel to copper, or copper to steel, or any two metals with different galavnic potentials. It'll cause the pipes to galvanically corrode.
