Apparently having a certain USB webcam connected will prevent @HPE servers from booting - happens on both G6 and G9 running a recent BIOS, and I'm guessing everything in between. Hangs during POST.

There, in-place converted from legacy/MBR to UEFI/GPT and now the OS happily boots.

Of course, this isn't going to help the G6 server, because HP didn't support UEFI at all until G9 (!!).

I've definitely experienced a network card causing a (consumer-grade) BIOS to hang for different amounts of time depending on whether CSM is enabled or not. All hangs were fixed by updating the network card option ROM

CSM is best kept disabled on recent boards - had a bunch of weird stuff happening.
