Do you think that building HVAC pressurization increases the pressure reading? Put another way, did the measured height delta from barometer match the actual delta (ignoring sea level) elevation?

I don't know the exact delta between the two floors, but guesstimating it from building size and floor count, it comes pretty close. So if there's an effect I'd expect it's minimal.

Japan has the smoothest elevators of just about everywhere i've been. Some are virtually imperceptible they are moving through 50 levels apart from your ears detecting the altitude change It's like a competition who can make them the smoothest.
