It is emphatically not the least of *my* worries. But I actually use the camera so I can’t just tape it up.
That was hyperbole, nobody would enjoy such photos being taken, but my guess is most people in infosec probably have bigger things to worry about if they get compromised to that extent. Is camera pwnage the biggest threat for you?

I understand that. I'm just curious how that becomes the top threat. I might have a different perspective, but I would naively imagine credential and identity theft, or loss of confidential information, could be much more damaging.

to me it's a "why not" thing. I never use the camera and taping over it may give very little security improvement but also takes no effort so it's still a net gain however small.
