Jumping in for a totally unrelated question (sorry!). How was your battery life? I've just bought a used Nexus 5X, and running AOSP (self-built with minor modifications) w/o Google Services I'm at ~5%/h, which looks quite high to me.
It was pretty crappy, could barely get through a day of light usage. I've been holding off and carrying a mobile battery when I expect to use it a lot. The problem is AFAICT decent 5X replacement batteries are unobtainium. So I was going to get a new phone in a few months anyway.
Yikes. I've been scratching my head the whole week wondering whether this was the normal power consumption, a faulty board where some device never fully sleeps or a degraded battery. I've ordered an "original" (I doubt it) battery. Let's see how it goes. Thanks!
