On one level, this is typical embedded+startup development nonsense. On another, letting it get this bad means technical debt has gone way out of control. Tesla needs to seriously find someone to whip up this mess into shape soon, or else it's going to come bite them. Hard.

How sure are you that the person reporting this info is legit? Some of it doesn't match what I've heard from people I know who have worked at Tesla.
