Also, it's probably skewed by the sun hitting the sensor. E.g. right now the current 40%RH 37°C readout would mean 52% RH if the temperature in the shade is 32°C. Unfortunately the only handy window I can stick my sensor onto faces the sun.
If the sun is going to hit the sensor, you need a radiation shield. In the past when I designed outdoor sound level meters with environmental measurement capabilities, I used these radiation shields: https://www.davisinstruments.com/product/radiation-shield/ …
20 times what the sensor cost :-) I'll try DIYing something similar though.
