Also, it's probably skewed by the sun hitting the sensor. E.g. right now the current 40%RH 37°C readout would mean 52% RH if the temperature in the shade is 32°C. Unfortunately the only handy window I can stick my sensor onto faces the sun.
I'll probably try sticking some kind of aluminum-foil-lined shade on top of it to try to get better readings.

That might work, I would try with several layers separated 1 or 2 cm if possible.
