Ugh, the already ridiculously expensive IDA Pro support renewal is $90 more expensive than last year ($469 vs $379). Maybe they really do want to keep encouraging people to switch to an alternative or write their own.

You're comparing the named IDA license (which is apparently not for company use anymore) with the commercial version of BN. So wouldn't that either be $149/$74 for non-commercial BN, or $1879/$629 for IDA Computer?
I'm trying to confirm that the named IDA license is indeed not for commercial use any more.

Beyond the previous screenshot in this thread, I've heard the same from others who got it in writing too. Definitely curious what you hear back.

I just got confirmation from them that Named licenses can be used for commercial work, they just don't seem to want "companies" (for some definition of company - >1 employee?) to purchase them, but it's fine as a freelancer/sole proprietor.
