Ugh, the already ridiculously expensive IDA Pro support renewal is $90 more expensive than last year ($469 vs $379). Maybe they really do want to keep encouraging people to switch to an alternative or write their own.

more seriously, how do you keep track of bigger/more complex control flow like that? the limited structure always kinda gets me
If stuff gets really complex, I just use the comments and group nodes features to break it down into logical chunks. Eventually, if I need to understand it *exactly* (e.g. crypto), I'm probably hand-decompiling it into runnable Python at some point.

seeing the speed
@comex could use the decompiler made me decide to give it a try. haven't looked back since :P If you're using IDA for extended periods (>1 week) it really helps IMO. Also deopt certain x86 seqs is really helpful. -
Yeah, it's good, but it's not $2629 × {X86,X64,ARM,ARM64,PPC} good. I'll buy it when I get paid enough for a job that would seriously benefit from it to justify it.
