Yeah I don't think CloudFlare will magically fix this network. Also I don't trust CloudFlare for DNS.

Google does the same thing. And I actually worked there (on the team responsible for that) and know how the sausage gets made. Not that I would use Google Public DNS as my main resolver at home anyway, I run my own BIND instance.
