I said in my cycon talk that ovjects without a computer inside will become an exception. TIL that suitcases w "electronic tags" are becoming a thing :-((

Apparently if you use “smart luggage” suitcase, you have to take out the batteries before you check it in (no batteries in the hold), so not sure it’s worth the trouble.

That makes no sense. Batteries *are* allowed in the hold. Just not loose/replacement batteries. I just checked in a laptop with battery last week and nobody cared.
