In the thread you're referencing, I wasn't "correcting" someone as to whether your work has value; I was mostly pointing out that building random toolchains isn't a big deal and your work doesn't stand out *as a generic toolchain*.

As you know, I mentioned later that it certainly has value *for homebrew console development*. There's a difference. The use case in question was not homebrew console development. I was merely correcting a misconception about the availability of architecture toolchains.

People don't often say that devkitPro toolchains are useful, mostly I hear complaints so thanks for actually expressing that. You could have said "devkitPPC is fine for X but ..." which would have seemed less like another attack. I even agree with the general point.
