Tell me your secret how to solder at these little pins. Which tools are you using?
Tweezers, soldering iron, flux pen. The soldering iron is just a conical tip that is much wider than the pins. And practice.

It looks like you use non-enameled wire. Do you find that easier to work with?

There's no reason to use enameled wire here, it's not going anywhere.
