Hmm, I think it's not that clear-cut though. Where is the line between distribution and mere access/transit (e.g. ISPs)? I think we all agree the "game" in quoted tweet is fucking horrible, but I find it nontrivial to reconcile that with freedom of expression/content.

E.g. there are some things I strongly feel shouldn't exist, and some things I strongly feel should be protected as free expression, and I have no idea how to come up with some kind of objective test that is Clearly Correct™ to apply.

It seems Valve took the radical way out of just saying "fuck it, we're not policing anything". Which is definitely a cop-out, but I can't bring myself to think it's an inherently bad approach. It's... an approach. It has consequences, like any approach. I dunno.
