Is it possible to do the openlase on a laser like this(seems like a laserworld product or other type)? I just want to project a real-time edge animation but I know few about the DIY laser scanner(which needs a audio card according to your blog) :(

That's a commercial laser working with OpenLase. You can use a sound card-based DAC or anything that can work with JACK, like the LaserDock projectors (http://www.magnumlighting.com/ld1000/ ) which work with https://github.com/marcan/lasershark_hostapp … .
