This thing has one button and one mode. It wasn't turning on. I had to remove the batteries and put them back in again. Probably because I bet these days a microcontroller and a momentary switch are cheaper than a toggle switch.

I'm convinced the Philips ones have a self-destruct mechanism built-in.... after around 2 years they suddenly loose all their battery capacity... it's almost like they stop sleeping the uC....
