Does it feel that big ol' hole left by Colossus? :D I want good open source distributed append-only storage dammit.

Ceph even supports reed-solomon in-place overwrites now! You can run virtual block devices (or CephFS) over an erasure-coded pool. I remember that being on the Colossus roadmap for so long :P
