i don't say this often enough, people take things too seriously
Note to current self: When someone tweets they can't fathom why anyone would dislike Thing B and like Thing A, then blocks you and calls you a jerk when you try to offer some reasons why you think Thing A is notably better, maybe they just can't handle differences of opinion.

Twitter is not conducive to having friendly arguments - or for judging whether someone's tweet is actually an invitation to one. A low emotional bandwidth medium like text, with its' bandwidth reduced even further by character limits, is not great for honest human interaction. :(

I got torched too. Tbh sometimes even the best of us have bad days. I'm trying to not read too far into it and extend some grace. It's hard and it hurts but as soon as anything becomes personal, I think it's time to back off and go back to hacking...
