      Yet another JS WTF. JS uses 64-bit floats for numbers, but it *lies* when displaying them. 0x4000000000000000 is 4611686018427387904 and is *perfectly* represented as a float. But JS renders it as 4611686018427388000, because that has fewer significant digits in decimal?!pic.twitter.com/xbYbqMP9mY

      It *is* the same value... when converted to 64-bit float, which is the only numeric type that JS supports. But only one integer representation is *exact*, so returning any other integer output from toString (as an int, without a decimal) is just insane.

      It seems to always round to represent the float as an integer with trailing zeroes in whatever base you pick (obviously the real int value in most of those bases does not end in "00"). Just why.pic.twitter.com/4EKvRI4qWX
