Dude, that's just for 7.1 24-bit 192kHz HD audio. Streams are *multichannel*. It's the (third party, e.g. Realtek) codec's job to do A/D and D/A conversion, the ICH has *nothing* to do with this. 8ch * 24b / 16b * 192kHz / 48kHz = *48 16-bit frames*. DO. YOUR. RESEARCH.
