  Apple may not have been deliberately killing off their non-iOS products by gradually alienating both their user and developer bases, but that would be consistent with their actions from around 2012 to the present.

  Depending on what they will do with #MoltenVK (leave or drown it) this might be a great decision for #Vulkan and/or *nix gaming. It does abandon legacy but this is understandable given the imperfect state of OpenGL (as a whole and especially within Apple).
