This is actually a really well thought out argument. Conglomerates result in ethical negligence, and now that gh may end up in a conglomerate they may no longer be able to keep themselves ethical. That is certainly disconcerting.

My guess is the first function to get changes is the "Releases" tab on GitHub projects, and then removing hacking related stuff.
