Yes, it's BS. While an implant in a magjack is definitely plausible, everything in that photo is completely normal. Dragos has a history of paranoia; last time it ended with a huge news cycle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BadBIOS ) with zero conclusive evidence.

If there were an actual implant, there would be some obvious silicon in there. Of course it's hard to tell conclusively with how clumsy the teardown is, but you'd probably find a highly integrated MCM with a CPU, Flash, and Ethernet transceivers. That would stand out.
