Is anyone paid to work on Cairo? Because if not ... that seems like a problem. Or maybe they're just overloaded. I know when we had a full time developer on Haiku that trivial annoying stuff got fixed very quickly.
The issue was in Inkscape, not Cairo. I don't know if any of the devs get paid to work primarily on it, not sure. @___Mc__ has a Patreon for it though, maybe he knows.
No one works fulltime on Inkscape (Tavmjong also has a patreon). As for cairo, I think bryce is paid by Samsung OSG to work on cairo-related things, and maybe also mclasen who works at RH (primarily on gnome I think).
