I do not know why anyone white would be afraid of him. I do know that his easy association with white nationalists, which apparently is seen as a minor idiosyncrasy by those claiming to know better, certainly keeps some people of color from having much sympathy for his situation.

“association”: is this like him conspiring with them? or him engaging them in conversation. if the latter, you might be overloading the word.

I respected Greenwald’s skepticism that Russia had interfered with the 2016 election or was continuing the Cold War by new means, until I didn’t. His denial at this point seems merely ornery. But he’s certainly a fearless commentator and a very smart guy. Also nice to dogs.
