    If you want a detailed explanation of recursion, read "Functional Programming, Simplified" by Alvin Alexander. I've never seen such detailed specifications. I thought a thousand pages will be hard to understand but this book is easy to read. Simplified. Thx for advice

    One fertile source of sci-fi fiction seems to be taking CS ideas and turning them into thrillers. For example - recursion -> Inception, “popping the stack” - loops -> looper (duh!), in some ways Ascension/stories of your life. - virtual machines -> pretty much any AI sim plot

    In esoteric philosophy recursion and isomorphism are key principles. The phrases "All in All" observes "being" as recursive in nature, patterns repeat through themselves as themselves. The phrase "As above, so below" shows isomorphism, one state Inverts into another.
