Is he really a professor? Before you interview him you need to make sure he isn't just an identity hire that's been promoted to fill a quota. Ask him a lot of really basic questions about his "area of expertise" just to reassure yourself he hasn't stolen the post from a woman...

How do you balance keeping a home, taking care of the children, and keeping up with a good skin care routine while being a professor? How do you do it? What’s your secret?

What is his wife’s job?

How does he dress to impress at conferences and lectures?
-
How does he manage to look sharp but tone down his masculinity so that the audience can focus on his talk rather than his gender? Does he find it useful to raise his voice an octave to get the audience to take him seriously?

Why would you ask questions when you can read Wikipedia articles about his research and then explain it to him? sincerely,
#confused -
He wouldn’t meet the “notability” criteria on Wikipedia though so talking about his research is probably a waste of time and wouldn’t interest the male readers anyway.
