If you feel that is the case, if u feel the film makers are just corporate tools and powerless, then why bitch at us? In the case of and , i assure you these cats are not “owned”. They actually fight your battles behind the scenes.

As we have in national politics as well. And the more the financial and power divide grows between regular folk and the privileged, the greater the extremes from people who feel like they have to scream to be heard from across the moat.

I think some people might prefer film to be made by committee, just look at what's happening with the supposed "remake" of The Last Jedi. They want it to be safe, not bold. Bold means new, new means different and different means you're not always going to get what you want.

New people will take it on with no baggage to prove themselves and say fuck you. Batman is a good case in point. That franchise has never died...but it did get a chance to have a rest. Do you mean it's important to leave a field fallow for a season?

I'm saying Nolan made Batman Begins w/o pressure to lay pipe 4 several spinoff films & potential TV & merch. tie-ins. Again w/ Dark Knight, the story was self contained & personal to Batman & his demons. In the 3rd, my least favorite, I feel universe-bulding pressure creeping in.

I took half the normal budget on LOGAN in exchange for an R rating and creative control. But no one came down on me so hard about that film.
