  8. Today’s front page of the Business Post exposes Paddy Power as an aggressive anti-union employer. It highlights the desperate need for union “right to access” legislation which would allow union organisers guaranteed access to workplaces and workers. Up the workers! ✊

  12. Spare a thought for the staff of those who are picking up the pieces today. TDs might be nicely paid but their two Dáil staff - and whatever others they have elsewhere - had demanding roles, just-as-long hours, pay untouched for two decades, and - demonstrably - no job security.

  18. It was a fabulous turnout today as Child Care workers came in their thousands to protest in Dublin. They arrived from all parts of the country determined to change a broken system. What a marvelous demonstration of worker power. Vote left wing candidates for real change on 8th.
