    i just had to let that thread go. I'm so angry. Watching people with multiples homes, health insurance, generational wealth, millions net worth, and incomes at almost $200,000 sit in Congress and tell people that $80k income is the line for a stimulus check is very frustrating

    I feel sick. They just legalized the murder of protestors with the FULL INTENTION of legalizing murder of protestors. Not to mention the further imprisonment of more people - which goes beyond the horrors of the carceral system. Felons can't vote.

    TN House Criminal Justice Committee just passed HB0513 to make protests that block traffic a felony and granting criminal immunity to drivers who hit protesters. The sponsor Rep. Ron Gant was asked what inspired this bill? He was evasive and said it’s “to send a message.”

    Why aren't our politicians paid the federal/state/local minimum wage? Like, if NO ONE else should make that amount, it's them. They work FOR those agencies. (Oh how quickly wages would be increased if congress had to live on what they enforce on the populous)

    Besides how dumb is being, removing the mask mandate, it seems intentionally designed to be a direct slap in the face to the President's reasonable request that we wear our masks for his first 100 days to help drive down the numbers of those infected in the US.
