You will need to accumulate new skills over the course of your career and be opportunistic in acquiring them. In today’s world, this means taking a path that is often nonlinear and untraditional.

Reinventing job hunting. Making a career is trying out something which interests you, learning some skills, putting tools into your toolkit, going to the next place and putting a few more tools in, until finally, you have all of the tools to build your own house.

Smart people who are secure about themselves love to hire and be around other smart people. Individuals who are easily threatened , hire nonthreatening individuals , who add less value to the business as a result.

A big dream , a clear vision, and a little bit of nuttiness are required to take something from an idea stage all the way to creating something that realizes that dream.

We all agree the education system is broken, and that kids don't learn anything useful because of the obsession with exam marks and an outdated syllabus . So why do we make a bad situation worse by trapping them in tuitions ? Isn't the school classroom bad enough ?

If we don't give the next generation a chance to prove their capabilities by offering them interesting real-life challenges, then who will ?

When your children are grown up, they want to live their own lives, and if you don't develop your own interests and continue to want to meddle in theirs because your life has become empty and boring, you are likely to become a burden to them.

China will beat India because they have banned coaching classes and tuitions . They are playing the long game by encouraging children to think for themselves, rather than outsource their thinking to tuition teachers.
