New: S.F. tapped Urban Alchemy to respond to low-level 911 calls about homelessness instead of police in a new pilot. Community groups who campaigned for the program are pushing back on the pick. Will the team, whoever runs it, have an impact?

Answer: No.
Lena Miller will get a new fur coat, though. How about some coverage and photos of that?

Way too confusing. Their should only be police responding to 911 calls. God for is your ever need to call 911 in SF for a police response.

This not good! U can’t enforce low level crimes with basic organizations. They don’t have firepower or laws to back them up. This is where we “reimagine gets it wrong”. . Reimagine better “be good parent” 9/10 crimes here rooted in poor upbringing! And poor morals

the past weekend i watched UA employees harass homeless people who were doing nothing wrong, while ignoring open air meth use a few feet away, and interacting like friends with drug dealers in Civic Center while they openly sold drugs in front of UA
UA is a city-funded gang
